Though the manufactuer has labeled it as Heavy Duty, it is regular duty. I actually have this very curtain in my bathroom right now and haven't had any problems with it. In my opinion, shower curtains are mainly designated to coordinate with your decor and keep water from running out of the tub during a shower, and that is EXACTLY what this does.
